🎉 What's New in Foodback 5.1.0

🔲 Generate Your Own QR Codes

Getting a new venue live no longer means waiting on Foodback to produce your QR codes. From today, generate, preview and download ready-to-print QR codes for every venue, group and standalone campaign directly inside FBI.

  • Three clear tabs — Venues, Groups and Campaigns — each searchable, and switchable between list and grid view

  • Download one code or all of them — grab a single SVG or PNG, or download everything at once as a zip

  • The code matches the design already on your printed table talkers, so nothing already in the field needs reprinting

  • Built to handle our largest accounts — hundreds of venues, no slowdown

♿ Survey Accessibility: WCAG 2.1 AA

consumer survey with a visible keyboard focus outline on a button

The Foodback survey now meets WCAG 2.1 AA — especially useful for venues serving the public, like stadiums, festivals and amusement parks. It's easier to use for every guest, including those relying on a keyboard or assistive technology.

  • Every part of the survey can be reached and operated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator

  • Colour contrast improved throughout, with a warning in FBI if you pick a colour that's too light

  • Guests can now pause animated ads

  • Proper headings and structure so screen readers read the survey correctly

📊 New Chart Engine

Every chart across FBI — Pulse dashboards, Campaigns, One More Question, the Top Level Dashboard — now runs on a new charting engine. Charts stay where they are and show what they've always shown, with a few small upgrades along the way.

  • Chart legends are now clickable — hide or show a series with one click

  • A goal line now appears on Pulse score charts wherever a goal is set

  • Sentiment pie legends are now properly translated in all languages

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Duplicating a campaign no longer copies the original's start/end dates onto the new one

  • Live campaigns that already have answers can now have more non-essential details edited — name, dates, welcome screen, question images and translations

  • Newly added Pulse questions now show up immediately in the "questions already in category" list

  • A newly created Pulse question can be edited right away, no refresh needed

  • A Pulse question with zero answers can now be deleted

  • Translations can be added again to Pulse questions with a very high number of answers

  • Fixed an issue where an AI-generated summary could appear to process forever after a failed job

  • Copilot's One More Question summaries and venue-count disclosures are now more accurate

  • Monthly Report now correctly reads "last month" instead of "last week"

  • Live Notifications: the "Notifications Sent" column now shows emails actually sent, and duplicate/incorrect labels in notification emails are fixed

  • Goals: fixed the empty-state message for recipient search, and made terminology consistent on Room-type accounts

  • Rewards: fixed coupon and prize-count accuracy, and stopped low-prize emails from firing on inactive or ongoing coupon rewards

  • Fixed 34 missing translations across German, Spanish, French and Italian

  • Analytics: consistent thousands separators, and fixes to Top Level Dashboard trendline rounding and accumulation

  • Sharper customer logos on high-DPR screens, and a handful of smaller interface fixes across Groups, All Foodbacks and campaign QR downloads

⚙️ Under the Hood

Behind the scenes, this release extends Foodback Copilot's understanding of account Groups (building on what shipped in 5.0.0), migrates stored branding colours to their new WCAG-compliant defaults, and continues moving the platform onto the Highcharts-based chart engine. As always, we keep tightening security and stability under the hood.
